Why Exhibit at the show......

After the huge success of our first show in South Wales we used the format for the Second "South Wales Boat Show". We used the same formula as before, bringing together all aspects of water sports, and even more family orientated entertainment to keep all membersof the family entertained to retain people in the showground. At the close of the 2008 show we had fantastic feed back from an overwhelming number of exhibitors who collectively grossed over £2.3M of sales, way exceeding the 2006 shows total of £1.3M. which in turn has given us over 30 firm bookings for the 2008 show from the 2007 show already many exhibitors have massively increased their stand space for the 2008 show. We are delighted to confirm our sponsorship for the 2008 Morth Wales boat show with the national marketing support of Wales Water Sports, Gwynedd County Council, North Wales Watersports, the massive regional Radio advertising support of Champion 103FM and Coast 96.3FM and Sailing Today Magazine - Essential Reading for all Cruising Sailors again have promised to support us with national marketing across the marine industry in the U.K. also for 2008 we are also would like to welcome aboard CSL Publishing who produce a number of Marine publications such as Sports Boat & Rib magazine, Boat Mart, All at Sea and Boat & Yacht buyer as a sponsor who exhibited with us at last years South Wales show, and Several Marine publications and national and local newspapers including the Daily Post who will also be running features and adverts in the lead up to the show. Margam Showground 2006 South Wales Boat Show

The venue of Margam Park was highly commended by both Exhibitors, Press and Public and provides us with an amazing venue that we can comfortably grow into in further years. This fuelled our choice of the amazing Vaynol Estate which will host the 2008 North Wales boat show, as it has similar features to Margam including a large lake for the come and try event, and is also an established festival venue with ideal car parking and access facilities.

You may already know, South Wales prides itself on a large contingent of Marinas, Sailing Schools and clubs ranging from dinghy to yacht racing. There has been an explosion of water born activities in South and North Wales since the re- development of many coastal areas and harbours into new marinas with up to date facilities and with a vast cash injections are being spent in many marinas across Wales, many don't realise that most of Wales is within easy reach of the coast for watersports facilities. Amazingly a recent survey has quoted Wales having the highest percentage of the population having a watersport interest than any where else in the UK !!! Lets Bring it on!!
